Overview of the Page
How well do you know your fellow classmates? In the iWrite classroom, we write about a variety of subjects for the school newspaper. There is a column in the newspaper that allows us to interview a few select students of the North Baltimore school. We write down ten questions to ask those people, then interview them about it. Once they respond, we write an article over them.

Alison Buchanan - Senior
Alison Buchanan is a senior here at NBHS. Her favorite school subject is art because “she enjoys drawing.” She believes her toughest class this year is Anatomy; however, she still enjoys the class because Mrs. Garner is her favorite teacher. She says her favorite childhood memory was when she got bit by a snake on video. Her hidden talents consist of wiggling her ears and shaking her eyes. In her free time, she enjoys sleeping. Alison feels most proud of her Pokemon team, and her passions and hobbies in life consist of drawing, reading, Netflix, and sleeping. She also loves playing video games. One main goal she has set for this year is to learn how to drive.

Kenzie Carles - Senior
Kenzie Carles is a senior here at NBHS. She is a member of both the track and volleyball teams. In her free time, she enjoys to spend time with her friends and family. Her plans for the future consist of attending BGSU and majoring in somewhere in the business field. When asked what she believes are her three best qualities, she answered with, “I’m friendly, funny and smart.” Kenzie believes that her toughest class would have to be physics, and her favorite class would have to be either language arts or math because they come easy to her. Kenzie’s favorite teacher is Ms. Lauer because she helps her with everything, whether it be school related or not. One main goal Kenzie has set for this year is to get prepared for college. Kenzie says, “I am most proud of my grades and keeping a job through high school.”

Daniel Crouse - Senior
Daniel Crouse, also commonly called “Danbo, Doc and Danny boy,” is a senior here at NBHS. He runs cross country and throws in track. His favorite subject in school is science because he has, “always enjoyed it and understands everything.” He finds math to be his toughest class this year because he is not good at working with formulas. His favorite teacher would be Mr. Rowlinson, who is also his cross country coach. When asked why, Danny answered with, “I know if I ever needed something I could call him.” In his free time, Danny enjoys lifting and hanging out with friends. One main goal he has for this year is to graduate. After school, he plans to go to BGSU for psychology.

Victoria Ebersole - Senior
Victoria Ebersole is a senior at North Baltimore High School. The most important element in life to her is family, friends, and her pets. She plans on going to BGSU after she graduates. She doesn’t know what her major is going to be yet, but she knows she’s going to BGSU. This year, she plans on getting involved with extracurricular activities, for example, “Pause for a Cause”. One main goal she has this year is to get good test scores in precalculus. Her favorite school subjects this year are college readiness, healthy living, and precalculus. Her biggest success up until now is still being in school.

Megan Ernsberger - Senior
Megan Ernsberger responded this when asked if she was going to college,”Yes, I am going to Tiffin University for Law Enforcement”. Megan plans on joining extracurricular activities this year like Paws for a Cause. One reasonable main goal she has planned for this year is to keep her grades up. When inquired where she would envision herself ten years from now she responded, “Hopefully I will have the career I wanted which was to become a cop and have a loving family”. During the interview Megan mentioned who her hero was, “My grandma is my hero, because she’s the toughest person I know”.

Olivia Frost - Senior
Olivia Frost discussed whether she was going to college she replied,”Yes, I’m not sure yet but if I do go I would go for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ultrasound)”. One main goal she has planned for this year is to keep a high GPA and get all A’s. Olivia plans on getting involved in various extracurricular activities this year like Paws for a Cause. When interviewed where she would envision herself ten years from now she retorted, “Working in a hospital, and hopefully married with kids”. When questioned about what was one major obstacle she has faced so far in her life she responded, “Choosing whether or not I want to play a sport in college”. What motivates Olivia is her family, friends, and her boyfriend.

Cody Gerdeman - Senior
Cody Gerdeman is a senior attending NBHS. His favorite subject in school this year is science because, “it’s fun.” He believes that his toughest class is between either Anatomy or Stem. When asked about who is favorite teacher this year was, he responded with, “Ms. Lauer because she is really nice and understanding.” His passions and hobbies in life consist of music, sports, camping, fishing, and cars. In his free time, Cody enjoys playing sports, PS4, and listening to music. He says his hidden talent is “eating tons of food.” When asked about one main goal he has set for this year, he answered with, “I want to get rich.”

Emily Gerdeman - Senior
Emily Gerdeman is also a senior here at NBHS. She is a member of both the volleyball and softball teams. Her favorite class would be science; she finds that to be her easiest classes for her. English would be her next easiest class, too. When asked about her toughest class this year, she answered with, “Pre-calculus or Physics because there are so many steps to most of the problems that you have to remember.” She says Ms. Lauer is her favorite teacher this year because, “she has pushed me to do my best on everything. Although, honestly all of the teachers are my favorites, they’ve all helped prepare me for college so much.” Emily says her passion in life is her family. In her free time, Emily enjoys spending time with her friends and family. One main goal she has set for this year is to graduate with honors. When asked what she feels most proud of, she answered with, “my grades I have accomplished in the past couple of years.”

Michael Gorsline - Senior
Michael Gorsline is also a senior attending NBHS. In his free time, he enjoys talking to his friends and sleeping. His passions and hobbies in life are WWE and video games. One main goal he has set for this year is to graduate. His plans for the future consist of, “going to wrestling school in Louisville, Kentucky.” When asked how he was enjoying this school year so far, he responded with, “it’s okay.” His favorite school subject is Astronomy, because he thinks that space is cool. His favorite teacher is Mr. Gregorsok because he is funny and understands Mike’s sense of humor. He also believes that this school year is pretty easy and doesn’t find any of his classes to be hard.

Lacey Hall - Senior
Lacey Hall, sometimes called “Lace,” is also a senior attending NBHS. She is a member of the cheerleading team. Her favorite subject in school is English because she enjoys to read and write. When asked what she found to be her toughest class, she responded with, “I think in the past, my toughest classes were definitely math based, but this year, STEM isn’t too bad so right now it is kind of smooth sailing.” Her favorite teachers this year consist of Ms. Lauer, Mr. Daniels, and Mr. Lamb. She finds Mr. Daniels to be funny, Mr. Lamb to be easy to talk to and is great at helping those who struggle in math, and Ms. Lauer to be easy to get along with. She also says, “Ms. Lauer and I relate on a lot of topics.” After graduation, she plans on saving up some money so she can hopefully move to Florida. In Lacey’s free time, she enjoys to listen to music, watch television or movies, hangout with friends or go for a drive. Her passions and hobbies in life consist of listening to music and trying new recipes because, “it can be a lot of fun to try new things.” One main goal she has set for this year is to be more active in the social environment of school in some way. Lacey feels most proud of being the announcer at the dodgeball tournament because, “it was out of her comfort zone, but she ended up having a lot of fun doing it.”

Cheyenne Hernandez - Senior
Cheyenne Hernandez is a senior attending at NBHS. Her favorite teacher this year would be Ms. Lauer “because we are really close and I can go to her for anything.” Her favorite subject in school is English, since she enjoys writing. Cheyenne feels most proud of her achievements over the years of her high school career. Her hobbies in life are playing softball, and a passion of hers is to succeed in as much as she can. She looks forward to making memories with the senior class this year, and enjoys reading The Great Gatsby because “it was very suspenseful.” When asked what she believes are her three best qualities, she responded with, “I am helpful, understanding and friendly.”

Leah Hetrick - Senior
Leah Hetrick is currently a senior here at North Baltimore High School. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her friends and shopping. When asked which school subject she liked the most, she answered, “English because I find it easy.” The subject she believes will be tough for her this year is physics because it has a lot to do with math. One main goal she has set for this year is to get all A’s in her classes. Leah plans on going to college to major in Dental Hygiene. Her favorite color is pink, and if she could marry one fictional character, it would be Superman “because he can fly!”

Kylie Hiser - Senior
Kylie Hiser is a senior here at NBHS. Her two favorite classes this year would be both College Readiness and Anatomy. She believes Ms. Lauer is, “a great teacher and the class is helpful,” and finds Anatomy to be interesting. She also believes her toughest class would be Pre-calculus because math is hard for her. Kylie’s favorite teacher this year is Ms. Lauer for many obvious reasons. She says, “Ms. Lauer is kind hearted, friendly, and overall she is a very influential teacher and person.” When Kylie has free time, she enjoys to spend time with her family, especially her little sister, Ava. When asked about her main goal she has set for this year, she answered with, “To keep my 4.0 and to make my parents proud.” Kylie is extremely proud of her 4.0, and the fact that she has kept it for four years. When asked about her favorite memory from childhood, she told a story about how one time when she went on vacation in Tennessee, Kylie, Cassidy, and her cousins were talking. Cassidy went on a rant making fun of George Bush. Kylie said, “it made no sense, but it was Washilarious.” Kylie has a passion for the healthcare field, specifically pediatrics. She loves kids and wants to be able to help them in her future career.

Andrew Hollinger - Senior
Andrew Hollinger is also a senior at North Baltimore High School. When asked how he is enjoying the school year, he responded with, “So far it’s pretty good,” In his free time, he likes to hang out with people and relax. His favorite color is lime green. This year, he doesn’t really find any of his classes too challenging, but his favorite subject is History. When asked why he enjoyed History, he answered “It is really interesting to hear about all of the past events”. Andrew plans on going to college to become a teacher. One main goal he has for this year is to keep his GPA above a 3.5.

Jasmine Hummel - Senior
Jasmine Hummel is a senior at NB. One main goal she has set for this year would be to graduate, which is something she really looks forward to. When asked what her favorite book was, she answered, “any kind of poem book because I like poems.” Her passions and hobbies in life would be basketball and writing her own poems. Jasmine feels most proud of her grades throughout her high school career. Her favorite teacher in school is Ms. Lauer because “she is awesome.” When she has free time, she enjoys babysitting kids and hanging out with friends.

Katie Leady - Senior
Katie Leady is a senior at North Baltimore High School. She values her family, friends, and school above everything else in her life. She plans on going to BGSU or Ohio Northern after she graduates. She plans on going to college for marine biology. This year, she plans on getting involved with extracurricular activities, for example, “Pause for a Cause”. One main goal she has this year is to make honor roll the entire year. Her favorite school subjects are Art and Advanced Biology.

Hank Matthes - Senior
Hank Matthes is a senior here at North Baltimore High School. He is a member of both the football and track teams. He finds History through the Media to be his favorite school subject this year because he enjoys watching the movies in class. He believes that Pre-Calculus is his toughest class. Hank’s favorite teacher is Ms. Lauer because, “she has really helped out with his college classes and scholarships.” One main goal he has set for this year is to graduate with an honors diploma. When asked how he handles stress, he answered with, “I yell and get angry before working on finding a solution.” Hank feels most proud of completing his Eagle Scout Project. In his free time, he enjoys playing euchre, pool, spending time with friends and family and watching movies. His favorite memory from childhood would be laying the wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and getting an Air Force Challenge coin from his cousin who was a colonel in the Air Force. His passions and hobbies in life consist of playing sports, cards, pool, watching movies and working at the movie theatre. He also spends time with his friends and family. When asked about any hidden talents, he answered with, “I can do a great JFK impression and I’m amazing at Improv comedy.”

Zach Meggitt - Senior
Zach Meggitt, sometimes called “Meggo” or “Meggs”, is a senior here at North Baltimore. He is a member of the football, track and basketball teams. In his free time, he enjoys attending sporting events at the school and spending time with both his friends and family. Zach believes his toughest class this year would have to be Pre-calculus. His favorite subject in school is between physics and anatomy because he finds the classes very interesting. Zach’s favorite teachers in school are both Ms. Lauer and Mrs. Garner because, “they are both very related and easy to talk to. It is also easy to like their classes.” Zach feels most proud of his academic accomplishments this year, and his main goal he has set is to maintain his 4.0 GPA of this year. His plans for the future would be to attend BGSU. Zach has two ways to handle his stress. One is by getting away from the situation. The other would be to hang out with his friends to get his mind off of everything. His passions and hobbies in life consist of playing sports and traveling.

Brody Naugle - Senior
Brody Naugle said this when asked whether he was going to college, “I’m not sure but if I do go to college I would go for Computer Science.” Just after he mentioned he plans to join the extracurricular activity Paws for a Cause this year. One great goal Brody has planned for this year is to have playoffs in football. When questioned where he would envision himself ten years from now he responded, “Ten years from now I envision myself starting a family.” College sports and his grandma is what motivates Brody. When inquired how he handles stress he replied, “ I handle stress by listening to music, because it makes me sing and my body loses some stress so I can get things done”.

Alex Nichols - Senior
Alex Nichols is a senior attending North Baltimore High School. When interviewed on where he saw himself in five years he simply replied, “In five years I see myself in the military.” In his free time he fishes, hunts, takes naps, and works. Alex mentioned that his greatest success up until now is becoming who he is today. He was asked what was one main goal he has for this year and he replied, “One goal I have is to rank up in the military.” His parents’ divorce is a major obstacle that he has faced in his life. Alex mentioned that his father is his hero because he is the greatest man Alex knows. Once he graduates he plans on joining the military.

Breeanna Nickols - Senior
Breeanna Nickols is a senior here at NB and a highly respectable member of the iWrite team. She was interviewed on what she does during her free time and she quickly stated, “I enjoy playing xbox and sleeping. I also like to eat a lot.” Breeanna’s hidden talent is that she can make a cool bubble noise. Her favorite subject in school is Language Arts because she enjoys reading and understands everything her teacher teaches. She also states that the most important activity she does outside of school is to tweet on Twitter. Her account is @breeleethree60 and she would love some new followers. During the interview Bree was questioned on how she handles stress and she replied, “I sleep to handle stress and also watch Grey’s Anatomy stressfully.” The most important thing in life to her is friends and family. One main goal she has planned for this year is to graduate from NB in May. Breeanna’s hero is her parents because they have taught her everything. Her biggest success up until now is getting accepted into Lourdes.

Emma Rister is a senior here at North Baltimore High School. She is a member of the volleyball and basketball teams. When asked how she was enjoying the school year so far, she responded with, “I’ve enjoyed seeing everyone, playing volleyball and supporting the football team!” In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball and basketball, as well as spending time with friends and family. When Emma goes off to college, she would like to major in nursing. She finds anatomy to be one of her tougher classes this year because there are a lot of words to memorize. One main goal she has for this year is to make a lot of memories.

Morgan Rose - Senior
Morgan Rose said this when asked if she was going to college, “Yes, I am going to college. Probably the University of Findlay for Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy”. This year Morgan plans on getting involved in various extracurricular activities for her community service hours. One exceptional main goal she has for this year is maintaining her high GPA. When questioned where she would envision herself ten years from now, she replied, “Hopefully in the career field I want”. When inquired about what was one major obstacle she has faced so far in her life she responded, “Hard classes that could potentially bring my GPA down”. What motivates Morgan is her family, they push her to be the best she can be.

Morgan Sams is a senior at North Baltimore High School. When asked about the school year so far, Morgan answered, “It’s been great so far, I’m definitely glad to be a senior!” After she graduates, she plans to go to college for Health Science. Her favorite school subject is Art, and she believes, Physics will be her toughest class this year. Her main goal for this year is to graduate. Morgan’s favorite animal is a cow, and her favorite color is blue. In her free time, she enjoys to camp and play sports. Five years from now, Morgan sees herself working in a hospital.

Krysta Smith - Senior
Krysta Smith, sometimes called “Krys,” and “Christopher Columbus,” is a senior attending North Baltimore High School. In her free time, she enjoys watching anime, The Walking Dead and The 100. She also enjoys art and listening to music. In the future, Krysta plans to go to college for either psychology or nursing. A goal she has set for this year is to graduate and go to her dream college. Her hobbies and passions in life include collecting nutcrackers and glass turtles, and watching her favorite television series. Krysta’s favorite school subject is science, but unfortunately, she doesn’t have one this year, so she replied to that question with, “art because I love to draw and paint.” She believes her toughest class is PreCalculus because, “math in general is awful.” When asked about her favorite teacher, she replied with, “Mr. Hollenbaugh because he is funny and really nice. My next two choices would be between Ms. Lauer and Mr. Archer.”

Amanda Stefanka - Senior
Amanda Stefanka is also a senior at North Baltimore High School. She enjoys watching television during her free time. She does not have a favorite subject in school, and she finds math to be her hardest class this year. She would love to go to college to become a Vet Technician. Amanda’s favorite color is also blue, and her favorite animal is a ferret. When asked about one of her main goals this year, she answered, “I would like to pass my OGT.”

Tyler Stimmel inquired this when questioned who his hero was, “My hero is my dad, I look up to him and he has taught me so much.” One goal Tyler has for this year is to go to state in cross country and track for the 400m dash. When interviewed whether he was going to college he responded, “Yes I plan on going to Tiffin University. I am going to Tiffin University for Business Administration”. Ten years from now Tyler envisions himself being a manager and making loads of money. Always improving himself and getting better is what motivates Tyler. When questioned how he handles stress he relied, “I bottle it all up inside and freak out later”.

Lacey Trumbull - Senior
Lacey Trumbull is a senior here at NBHS. She is a member of the basketball, volleyball, cheerleading and track teams. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family. When asked if she had a hidden talent, she answered with, “Yes, I can touch my nose with my tongue!” She feels most proud of the person she is today and has a set goal to graduate this year. Her passions and hobbies in life consist of basketball and babysitting. Lacey’s favorite school subject is English because she enjoys typing papers. She believes her toughest class is physics. Sean Watson responded this when asked if he was going to college, “Yes, I’m going to college but I don’t know where, and I’m not sure what I’m going for yet”. This year Sean plans on joining extracurricular activities like Paws for a Cause. One exceptional goal he has for this year is to try to go to college for a sport. When questioned where he would envision himself ten years from now he replied, “I envision myself ten years from now being a part of construction and being a coach of a sports team”. What motivates Sean is his family. During the interview Sean mentioned who his hero was, “My hero is my father because he has taught me so much in life”.

Morgan Wright - Senior
Morgan Wright is a senior who attends here at NBHS. She believes this school year could be better, but she has “adapted to the changes.” In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, her friends, and her family. She feels most proud of everything she has been able to accomplish with her time here at NB. Her passions in life consist of cheerleading and baton. When asked what she believes are her three best qualities, she responded with, “my determination, I am entertaining and extremely helpful.” Morgan enjoys her math classes the most at school because there is always a right answer and she finds history to be her toughest class. Her favorite teacher at school is Ms. Lauer because, “she’s easy to get along with and their personalities are similar.” One main goal she has set for this year is to graduate, since she has high hopes. She plans to go to college to be a secondary math teacher.

Morgan Bretz - Junior
Morgan Bretz is a junior here at North Baltimore High School. Her favorite subject in school would be either iWrite, or art, “because they’re the most fun.” Her favorite teacher this year would be Mrs. Eynon because she is a fair teacher. Morgan feels most proud of some of her projects in art that she has completed so far this year. Her passions and hobbies in life are to have fun. One main goal she has is to pass all of her classes. This year, she looks forward to passing, then starting next year as a senior. When asked what she believes are her three best qualities, she replied with, “writing, listening and reading.”

Aurelian Greeno - Junior
Aurelian Greeno, commonly called “Tiny,” or “Arlo,” is a junior attending North Baltimore High School. He is a member of the track team. When asked about this school year, he stated, “I’m enjoying it a lot this year. My schedule is very different from any other year and I’m very busy, but I love it.” His favorite school subject is English because he loves to read and write, plus he is very good at it. When asked about his toughest class, he responded with, “Definitely math. I have always struggled with it, but I am working on improving my skills in that class.” Aurelian’s favorite teacher in school is Ms. Huffman because she has helped him with a lot in the past few years and doesn’t believe that he would be the same person he is today without her. One main goal he has set for this year is to improve his GPA and his skill in math class. His plans for the future consist of going to college at OSU for either Astrophysics and Astronomy, or Pathology. When he has free time, Aurelian enjoys reading, writing, painting, and any other activity that will keep him relaxed. He believes that his three best qualities would be his people skills, his sense of humor and his artistic abilities. When asked what he felt most proud of he responded with, “Probably my intelligence. I’m definitely not the smartest person in the world, but I think everyone should be proud of what they know.”

Brandon Lanning - Junior
Brandon Lanning is a junior here at NBHS. His favorite subject in school would be astronomy because “we get to learn about planets. and I find it interesting.” His favorite teacher this year would be Mr. Gregorsok, since he always tries to be goofy in class. He makes it more entertaining for his students. One main goal Brandon has set is to finish his junior year, and when his senior year comes around, he would like to go to his senior prom. When asked what he believes his three best qualities are, he answered with “I’m easy to talk to, get along with everyone, and I am a hard worker.” He is a member of the track team, and when he has free time, he likes to watch his sister play volleyball, work with his grandpa, go to toy shows with his grandpa and play Playstation.

Ashley Rainbolt - Junior
Ashley Rainbolt is also a junior at NBHS. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends. Her favorite subject in school is science because “it comes easy to her and is fun to learn as well.” She likes all of the teachers here at NB and couldn’t pick one that would be her favorite. One thing she feels most proud of would be the four year scholarship she got in middle school to a college in Florida. Ashley’s passion in life is to become a successful doctor. Her favorite book to read is The Fault in Our Stars because it “pulls at her heartstrings.” One main goal she has for this year would be to have a fun-filled, memorable year. She believes her three best qualities would be empathy, being a good friend, and the desire to help people.

Morgan Boyer - Sophomore
Morgan Boyer is a sophomore attending NBHS. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her friends. Her passion in life consists of basketball. Her favorite memory from her childhood is going swimming, and her one main goal she has set for the year is to get straight A’s. Morgan’s favorite teacher this year is Mr. Daniels because he is cool. She finds math to be her toughest class and enjoys art because she loves to draw and color.

Damon Dotson - Sophomore
Damon Dotson is a sophomore at North Baltimore. His favorite school subject is Science, and he believes Geometry will be his toughest class this year. He would like to go to college to become an auto technician. Damon’s favorite animal is a wolf. His favorite color is purple, and in his free time, he enjoys to play musical instruments. His main goal for this year is to get into NHS. He says the school year so far has been “okay, but it could be better.”

Taylor Kelley - Sophomore
Taylor Kelly, commonly called “Taytay,” or “Tay,” is a sophomore attending North Baltimore High School. When asked about how her school year has gone so far, she responded with, “It’s okay; it’s a lot harder than last year.” Her favorite school subject is language arts because she enjoys writing. The class she finds to be her toughest would be math. Her favorite teacher in school is Ms. Ferrell because, “She’s awesome!” One main goal that Taylor has set for this year is to “get her grades up and pass finals.” Her plans for her future consist of going to college and becoming a child psychologist. She feels most proud of her attitude because she says she is “not as mean as she used to be.” Taylor used to be a member of the volleyball team, but unfortunately quit due to health issues. Her passions and hobbies in life are dancing and painting. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and going out. She believes that a couple of her best qualities are her smile and trying to make others happy.
Chase Naugle - Sophomore
Chase Naugle is also a sophomore here at North Baltimore High School. In his free time, he enjoys listening to music and being alone. His favorite subject in school is math because “it’s too easy.” His favorite teacher so far this year is Mr. Hollenbaugh. Chase is a member of the basketball, football, and baseball teams. One main goal he has this year is to “get abs in weight-lifting class”. He looks forward to basketball season this year. When he goes to college, he want to become either a Spanish teacher or major in accounting.

Hailey Powell - Sophomore
Hailey Powell is a sophomore attending NBHS. Her favorite subject in school is Art because, “It’s a class that doesn’t really stress me out.” She finds both Geometry and Physics to be her toughest class and her favorite teacher this year is Mr. Gregorsok. One main goal Hailey has set for this year is to do well in track and rugby. In her free time, she likes to lift or anything that involves sport. Her passions and hobbies in life consist of traveling and learning about different cultures. She feels most proud of her exchange to New Zealand. Her favorite memory from her childhood are going on vacations with her family.

Hanna Rose - Sophomore
Hanna Rose is a sophomore attending NBHS. She is a member of both the golf and track teams. Her passions and hobbies in life consist of running, playing golf, drawing and painting. Her favorite teacher this year is Mr. Archer. When asked why, she answered with, “because he is really nice, and he is a cool teacher.” Hanna believes her toughest class is government because she has a hard time remembering all of the amendments. Her favorite subject this year is art because she likes being creative in her own way. She feels most proud of being on the honor roll and being accepted into NHS. In her free time, Hanna enjoys spending time with her friends and family. When asked how she handles stress, she answered with, “I try to calm myself down and relax.” One main goal she has set for this year is to have a 4.0 GPA.

Megan Smith - Sophomore
Megan Smith is a sophomore who attends at North Baltimore High School. She plays volleyball and is on the cheerleading team. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends, listening to music, and making lyric videos for youtube. Her favorite school subject is History because it interests her. When she goes to college, she would like to major in film and video editing and production. Her favorite teacher is Mr. Daniels because his class is entertaining. This year, she finds Geometry to be her toughest class because “math is a hard subject for her”. Her favorite book to read is Out Of My Mind by Sharon Draper. One main goal she has this year is to get good grades.

Britney Biller -Freshman
Britney Biller is a freshman attending North Baltimore High School. In five years she sees herself in college working on getting my education for her future job. In her free time she listens to music and draws. When interviewed on what her greatest success up until now she replied, “My greatest success up until now was trying my hardest to succeed and be where I am now.” One goal she has for this year is to pass the ninth grade with A’s and B’s. One major obstacle that Britney has faced so far is trying to be herself and not pretend to be someone else or what other people want her to be. When asked who her hero was she responded, “My grandma, because she raised me when there was no one else who would take me.” The career she plans on pursuing once she graduates is a veterinarian.

Rachel Crouse - Freshman
Rachel Crouse, a member of both the track and cross country teams, is a freshman here at NBHS. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She also likes to watch Disney movies. She feels most proud of how well she has been doing in band. She believes she has improved her trumpet playing skills by a lot. One main goal she has set for this year is to improve her high jumping skills in track. When Rachel feels stressed, she likes to go for a run or play around on her kindle. Her favorite subject in school is art class because, “It’s a laid back class.” Plus, she likes to create art pieces. Rachel believes her toughest class is Spanish because, “It is hard learning new languages.” She picked Mr. Archer to be her favorite teacher here at NB because he cares for all of his students and how they do in all of their classes, not just his.

Tyler Durfey - Freshman
Tyler Durfey is a freshman here at North Baltimore. Tyler was interviewed what he does in his free time, and he replied, “In my free time I like to hang out with my friends.” His favorite sport is basketball because it is fun. He does not have a favorite teacher because he likes them all. Tyler was asked how he handles stress and he responded, “I handle stress by getting away from the object of my stress.” To him family and sports are the most important thing in life. One main goal Tyler has for this year is to stay in shape. During the interview he mentioned who was his hero, “My hero is superman, because he can fly.” His favorite school subject for this year is gym because it involves athletics. Tyler’s biggest success up until now is to get good grades.

Sierrah Johnson - Freshman
Sierrah Johnson is a freshman at North Baltimore High School. When she has free time, she enjoys to write or practice volleyball. Her favorite subject in school is math because it is easy for her to understand. She would like to major in accounting when she goes to college. Her toughest class this year is Spanish “because it’s different to learn a new language, and it is not easy.” Sierrah’s favorite color is gold. One main goal she has for this year is to achieve all A’s.

Atlanta Norman - Freshman
Atlanta Norman is a freshman attending NBHS. She was asked where she sees herself in five years and she responded, “In five years I see myself working at a hospital.” In her free time she hangs out with family and friends, fishes, and hunts. She mentioned that her family and friends motivate her. Atlanta was interviewed on what her greatest success up until now is, and she replied enthusiastically, “My greatest success up until now is getting accepted to Penta.” One main goal she has for this year is to pass the ninth grade. One major obstacle she has faced is getting stressed out and not wanting to turn her work in. Her hero is her cousin James because he has been by her side for everything. Once Atlanta graduates, the career she plans on pursuing is Med Tech.

Alexandrio - 8th Grade
Alexandrio, commonly called “Alex” or “Lex,” is an 8th grader who attends North Baltimore. She is a member of the softball team. In her free time, she enjoys to sleep and watch movies. Her plans for the future consist of going into the army. When asked what she feels most proud of, she responded with, “my singing.” Her hobby in life is singing. Alex’s favorite subject in school is science because, “It’s at the end of the school day.” She finds social studies to be her toughest class. Her favorite teacher this year is Ms. Meyerson because, “she is nice and she is going to be her cousin.” One main goal Alex has set for this year is to become a freshman.

Hunter Baker - 7th Grade
Hunter Baker is currently a seventh grader attending NBHS. He is a member of the basketball, baseball, and football teams. In high school, he plans to play golf and do the mile run in track. His favorite subject in school would be physical education because he likes to workout and play fun games. He finds social studies to be his toughest class because he “gets a lot of homework.” However, he also said that as a 7th grader they are expected to handle it. Hunter’s favorite teacher in school would be Mr. Lamb because he can manage his time between having fun and knowing when to get back to work. In his free time, he enjoys playing outside with a friend or playing around on his phone. His one hidden talent is the ability to spin a basketball on his finger. He handles his stress by talking to a friend about it. One main goal Hunter has set for this year is to get in shape and make the honor roll.

Seth Cole - 7th Grade
Seth Cole is a seventh grader here at NBHS. He is sometimes called, “Ham” and “Speedy.” In his free time, he likes talking to his friends. One of his passions in life would be racing. He believes his three best qualities would be, “having friends to talk to, spending time with them, and fitting in quality time with his family.” So far this year, Seth has really enjoyed the experience as a middle schooler. One main goal Seth has set for this year is to maintain his grades in the second semester by “staying out of F’s and D’s.” His favorite class this year is his study hall because he gets all of his homework finished in there. He believes his toughest class would be between science and social studies. When asked what he feels most proud of, he responded with, “my A’s that I get.”
Branden Ebersole - 7th Grade
Branden Ebersole is a seventh grader at NB. In his free time, he enjoys playing around on his PC. His favorite subject in school would be math because it comes easy to him. His favorite teacher this year would be Mr. Lamb because “he is a fun teacher.” Branden’s passions and hobbies in life would be to create buildings out of legos. One main goal he has set for this year would be to get good grades. He looks forward to passing the seventh grade and believes his three best qualities consist of “video games, intelligence, and helping others.”

Andrew McEwen - 7th Grade
Andrew McEwen is a seventh grader attending North Baltimore. So far this year he has really been enjoying his experience as a middle schooler. He is commonly called “Andy, Bobby, and Jet.” He doesn’t have a favorite teacher because he likes all of them equally. Andrew feels most proud of his progress in basketball. He is a member of both the basketball and football teams.
